Hi, I’m Devika. I have been studying Psychology and Counselling for over 20 years, and I have been practising as a therapist since 2017. Prior to that, I worked predominantly in the charity sector in a wide range of roles supporting the well-being of individuals and communities. I’ve always been good with people and knew that I wanted a meaningful career that enabled me to help people.

My own experiences of being a client in therapy have been invaluable in understanding the whole process from both sides of the session. There’s so much in life that is hard to talk about or to understand, I consider it a real honour and privilege to be trusted with people’s experiences, thoughts and feelings.

Instead of listing all the ways I am affirming and inclusive, I’ll tell you about me; as a queer, brown, neurodivergent, bigger-bodied human, I simply love learning about us, and my passion is evident in my work. I will do what I can to encourage my clients to get the support they want and need.
